One Day Workshops: DNA fingerprinting

Have you ever wondered how forensic scientists identify culprits and solve crime? Us, too. Partnering with the University of Toronto, Community Outreach ran 1-Day workshops at campus labs teaching high school students basic pipetting skills and gel preparation and helping them identify the culprit bacterial species in a food poisoning mystery using DNA fingerprinting.
