James Lepock Memorial Symposium: May 29, 2014

You are cordially invited to attend the James Lepock Memorial Student Symposium. This annual event, hosted by our department, is an excellent chance to get a glimpse of the variety of projects that the students in the department are pursuing. The goal of the symposium is to provide an informal setting where students from the department can present their work to the faculty and their peers.

This year's symposium will be held on Thursday, May 29 in the Toronto General Hospital Helliwell Centre. The organizing committee has been working hard to put together an exciting program, including keynote talks by MBP's very own Dr. Robert Kerbel, senior scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute (SRI), and Dr. Shawn Chen, senior investigator in the Laboratory For Molecular Imaging & Nanomedicine at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The day will include two poster sessions, and oral presentations by MSc and PhD students. Lunch and coffee will also be provided. The program will then end with an evening reception, allowing for a great chance to interact with your colleagues.

This is a spectacular opportunity to show off your research to the department and to get feedback from other students and faculty members. Presenting a poster or talk is also a great addition to your CV. There will be prizes for the best poster presentations and talks.

For any questions regarding the event, please email us at jlm.symposium@gmail.com.
