Mentorship Program for High School Students

MBP Community Outreach is partnering with The Foundation for Student Science and Technology (FSST) in an e-mentorship and coop program.

In our initial pilot, 10 MBP graduate students mentored 10 high school students as part of the FSST’s coop program, and guided them in writing research proposals and literature reviews. At the end of the term, high schools students from the GTA came to visit the PMCRT, toured MBP’s facilities, and got first-hand exposure to wet-lab research.

If you are interested in being a mentor, please contact us at mbpcommunityoutreach@gmail.com.

More information on the FSST can be found on their site.
